OSU & Michigan Hillel Present: Why Vote – Featuring Mrs. Gilda Jacobs & Mr. Dan Shapiro

Ohio State versus Michigan is arguably the biggest rivalry in college sports. However, in an effort to mobilize Jewish college students to vote, these respective Hillel’s are putting this rivalry aside for a Voter Engagement Event. Panelists include Mrs. Gilda Z. Jacobs and Mr. Daniel B. Shapiro.

Mrs. Gilda Z. Jacobs is currently the President and CEO of the Michigan League for Public Policy, a non-partisan organization. She also served as a Democratic member of the Michigan Senate.

Mr. Daniel B. Shapiro, who is a diplomat and former Ambassador of the United States of America to the State of Israel in the Obama Administration. He was also senior director for the Middle East and North Africa on the United Nations Security Council.
